It was my deepest joy to volunteer as concierge assistant to Sid Haig in 2008. There's a well-told story in my family that starts with a voicemail message he recorded for me and ends with Canadian Mounties in my Grandparents' living room.
I had the honor of volunteering briefly for Kenny Miller at an indie Film Festival. He was the sweetest person, always asking if I had stopped for water and telling me wonderful tales of the show biz days. It left an impression on me.
